Apr 6, 2006 - Design Combus Ltd has announced availability of two PCI cards for high speed shdsl and E1 data transfer. The Retina C5400 PCI card has two shdsl interfaces for up to 4.608 Mbps and two E1 interfaces for up to 2.048 Mbps speeds. The Retina E2200 PCI card has two E1 interfaces.

Applications include VoIP/PBX gateways, firewalls and routers and other Linux based systems. Linux server systems can offer flexible and cost effective system platform for different kind of voice, data and multimedia communication equipments and services. The Retina PCI cards integrates with such systems and brings in the high speed shdsl and E1 (G703/G.704) physical communication capabilities.

The Retina cards include several performance enchanging features and can be installed under Linux operating system. The available utilities include menu based and command line management interfaces as well as Developer's Guide. The C5400 and E2200 cards are available immediately.
