Apr 10, 2006 - Design Combus Ltd has published new SW/FW releases for the popular Iris 10/20 product family.

SW/FW release 8.6.5 is downloadable immediately from DCombus Extranet. It has a new traffic priority scheme supported. In addition to the existing 8-4-2-1 priority support, now user can also select the Strict Priority Queing. The new feature gives additional flexibility in access network's customer traffic management while it is maximizing the selected priority's service quality.

Also the ComNetManage, DCombus' Iris CPE modem's management software, has a new release, v2.16, supporting the mentioned new priority selection scheme.
