New SW Release available for the Iris440 shdsl

DCombus has today announced a new SW Release version availability for the Iris440 shdsl modem. The version 2.7486 brings the user an http browser user interface (WebUI) and other enhancements and improvements. The version is freely available to Iris440 customers at DCombus Extranet immediately.

Iris 440 is a high-speed SHDSL modem with four Ethernet ports. The maximum speed using 4-pair copper is 22.8 Mbps full-duplex (up- and downstream).

The device has 4-port 10/100M Ethernet switch and versatile management, control and configuration features. Application areas include WAN/LAN/VLAN access networks and multi-user VoIP due to its low latencies and traffic prioritizing. Iris 440 can be configured as CO (Central Office) or RT (Remote Terminal) device enabling point to point connections.
