Iris 800 DSLAM
 Iris 800 DSLAM from DCombus integrates several shdsl line interfaces into the same platform. It is capable of handling maximum of 32 shdsl lines and offers 10/100/1000M Ethernet uplink. It reduces the needed device space and overall cost via port integration. Iris 800 has enhanced management features over network. The packet based traffic can be forwarded according to VLANs (IEEE802.1Q) and so called double tagging is also supported. Several shdsl ports can belong into one VLAN. In data communications equipments the quality of service (QoS) type of features can be used to quarantee certain service levels for end users. The QoS functions in Iris 800 can prioritize VLAN traffic according to defined priority queues. Several end user protocols and applications benefit this since those might be delay sensitive or need quaranteed bandwidth. Iris 800 DSLAM can be managed over a secure SSH link via network, trough console port or with web browser. The system supports also SNMP monitoring. The SW/FW upgrades can be done directly with the CLI (Command Line Interface) over network with http/ftp protocol. The remote shdsl CPE modems (Iris 10/20) can be fully managed and monitored, including SNMP, with the Iris 800 management. |
